David Bowie Is, at the Brooklyn Museum

Travel across the bridge for a brilliant retrospective. David Bowie Is draws from the artists private archives and illustrates an enigmatic caricature of the revolutionary life and career of David Bowie. Spend a day exploring the prolific but not exhaustive collection of 400 objects, 60 iconic costumes, 85 handwritten lyric sheets, and 100 specialty items that are all unique to the Brooklyn exhibition. Also presented is a series of music videos, audio recording, paintings, sketches, TV clips, and films, that are very cool to explore. NYC is the last stop on this art collection's tour, as it has already traveled throughout the world. David Bowie spent a substantial portion of his life in New York City, including his last days. Celebrate his creative genius then swing by The Norm, the onsite eatery, for a casual meal by Michelin-starred Chef Saul Bolton. We can’t think of a better way to spend a spring afternoon.
